Hello again Martin, i was thinking to ask you in private, but maybe will help others as well. I`ll start with a little story and question in last.....
Annoying thing in UK, you can drive with a car licence not only bike one BUT can`t drive it if you don`t have an UK licence, which is awkward as i can drive my car but not can am, and 3 of most popular refuse to do any insurance, so i need to wait 1-2 weeks until i can change it and after that to find an insurance company at a good price been my first year of NCB as trike driver which need motorcycle licence.
As begginer in this "wolrd" (trike/motorcycle/#RideItLikeYouStoleIt) i was looking for a good equipment.
1. What helmet do you use? (as not been so noisy... i was looking for a shoei neotec 2 or even calberg duke 2)
2. What winter gloves/jacket/trousers do you use? (Yea, in uk is not so much snow as in slovakia or romania, but is a lot of rain and cold weather... i preffer 40 at shade instead 20 with wind) Oxford heated will be my first choice for long rides, but with my shitty continental shift i won`t have proper time
3. What kind of usb/car charger do you use as waterproof while driving and charge, as i`ve see on aliexpress a lot of them waterproof when basicly you don`t change, having that small lids)
4. You`re a lucky one having a garage, but did u try to use other weather protection of seats as UltraGard 4-475BC?
(until then i`ll start to read all forum from spyderlover for more diy and stuff)
First part of video reply to you buddy :)
Hi Cedric, sorry I have missed your question, for whatever reason, the wix did not send me notification :(
Let me get back to you with video reply in more depth in this week please. But as quick reply here is what are my comments.
1 - I use C4Pro from Schuberth... buuuuuut i dont like it super much :( I think C3Pro was working better and was less noisy.. But here you need to test and run and test and run.. coz every helmet will behave differently with different setups - i mean the windshields etc.. Neotec 2 was also on my list.. but it looks cheap to me, for whatever reason.
2 - I user a lot of things from Trilobite - its a check brand and those trousers are great - water resistant and also with warm windstopper
I have revit jacket, and it is working all fine down to 7C the leather one
gloves I have revit waterresistant gloves and they are superb.. have them for 5 years.
3 - I use wireless charger and it is quadlock. it has many good features and there is a video review on my channel
4 - last i am very sorry, but not. but there are some solutions on the market and there are few blokes out there having the bYke out all the time. BUT YES you need COVER coz the sun will do a lot of damage
will get back to you more in details shortly.
martin - aka MASTER - you made me laugh brother :))))
