Part #5 from series "Riding around Slovakia" is taking place in the Middle of Slovakia.
In this episode MartinTheVlogger and TheBeast (BRP Can-Am Spyder F3s) will join meeting of German cars and will tell you more about iconic and super rare Audi S1 Quattro that have won several rallies in B category in 1980s. MartinTheVlogger will also join BRP meeting at Donovaly and will let some strangers to clean TheBeast.

Vlkolinec

Its name is probably derived from the Slovak word "vlk", i. e. wolf.
Vlkolínec has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993, and is one of ten Slovak villages that have been given the status of a folk architecture reservations. This status was granted because the village is an untouched and complex example of folk countryside architecture of the region of the Northern Carpathians.
Vlkolínec, situated in the centre of Slovakia, is a remarkably intact settlement with the traditional features of a Central Europeanvillage. It is the region’s most complete group of these kinds of traditional log houses, often found in mountainous areas. The village consists of more than 45 log houses each of them made up of two or three rooms
Donovaly
Donovaly is a village in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia. Being situated in an important pass between the mountains of Veľká Fatra and Starohorské vrchy, on the route connecting Banská Bystrica with Ružomberok, it became a prominent centre of winter and summer sports.
Donovaly pass - Must take road when in this area. I recommend to wake up super early and hit the road, otherwise this mountain pass get super crowded as there are not so many alternatives how to get on the other side of the mountain.
