First vlog from new series of videos from "Riding around Slovakia" is taking place in region called in Slovak language "Záhorie", or how google translate it to english "TransMountain region"
In this episode MartinTheVlogger and TheBeast (BRP Can-Am Spyder F3s) visits places that are typical for this region and will take the most notorious roads, that every bike rider or every petrolhead should take when is riding in this region.

One of the centres of the cult of the Virgin Mary of Seven Grievances, the patron saint of Slovakia is the church in Šaštín of 1736. It is visited by thousands of pilgrims not only from Slovakia but also from abroad.
The town Šaštín-Stráže is known abroad as a pilgrim site where people came to see the statue of the Virgin Mary. Pope Urban VIII confirmed the statutes of the place. The Pauline order acquired the statue in 1733 and decided to built the pilgrim church and monastery in Šaštín.
The church was built in the Baroque style and consecrated at the presence of Empress Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz I of Lotharingia.

Apart from castle itself, it amazing to see the town of Holic. How the architecture of functionalism or better said socialism, or even better siad those ugly block of flats that has been build during soviet era, are in contrast of historic buildings that have been luckily not destroyed.

Old Chapel near Kopčany
I was thinking that this would be one of the highlights of my day. Well usually when I think this way, it never happens, and this was no exception. Lot of people, nothing super special. However if you have seen the video all the way to the end, there is one chapel called "Kaplnka sv. Rozálie". What an amazing place to see the sundown completely alone.
