This video is not about politics. It’s about reality. In this video, I explain what tariffs really are, how they work, and why they exist in the first place — from the point of view of a small business owner operating internationally.
We’ll cover:
what tariffs are and how they are supposed to work
how tariffs can protect local manufacturers and producers
how tariffs are used as a source of income for governments
where tariffs stop working when they are rushed or poorly applied
what problems they create for small businesses and customers
what the real situation looks like right now on the ground
I’ll also share my honest opinion: I believe tariffs can be fair and useful — but in their current form, the way they’re being applied is causing real damage, especially to small businesses and end customers. At the end of the video, I include a small practical tip that may help my customers — and possibly other small businesses — navigate the current situation better.
